We recently happened upon Michael Wolf's outstanding photographs, uncovering his shots of toy factories in Asia. In short, they're paralyzingly deft. You feel as though you're getting a view of something that is meant to be kept behind closed doors; from the angles, to the expressions on faces, to the soulless products monotonously sent down the production line. Whether his photos of factories in China, or his interpretations of high-rise buildings at night, there is potency in every shot. Photographers are witnesses, and we're glad Michael is among them. Born in Munich, currently living in Hong Kong, Michael is certainly an urbanist, and we salute him. A full perusal of his portfolio reflect the mind of a true discoverer.
