Mixed media from Vancouver, Canada for the win! Yep, there's certainly something magical that happens when disparate materials come together. Whether through intentionality or happenstance, items such as acrylic, ink, nail polish, organic matter, book/magazine clippings, confetti, and more, are all worthy art supplies. The layers create depth, making the work certainly all the more impressive in person. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1991, she later becoming a lot more focused on her art once in Victoria, BC during her time at school. Jordan uses her imprint, Living Couch & Design as the umbrella for all her work, which also includes archival ink illustrations.

Jordan is another artist who submitted their work via our contact page, much to our delight. She's enthusiastic and driven, and when it comes down to it, that's what matters. Her passion is even palpable in emails! Pair that with an inquisitive mind, an art education, and talent, she's poised for big things. One thing's for sure, there's a lot more calculated chaos coming from Vancouver's Jordan Westre.
