Evan Roth
Evan Roth steadily cranks out thought-provoking art that challenges norms. His mental notes become 3D as his work clarifies that this guy just doesn't stop thinking. We posted about his project that used lasers to digitize graffiti a long time ago, and it appears that he's been up to similarly intriguing projects ever since. His Eyewriter project is probably his most inspirational, connecting the dots between graff and art therapy by allowing patients to create graffiti by enabling a revolutionary approach fused with modern technology. Evan's website describes it as such, "It is a low-cost eye-tracking apparatus & custom software that allows graffiti writers and artists with paralysis resulting from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to draw using only their eyes."
Well, IPMM thinks that's unequivocally brilliant. Along the same lines of his graff-writing past, his prints entitled Graffiti Taxonomy Diptych: New York and Paris, are a few of the better prints we've seen available anywhere as of late. Don't sleep on this!
