Instrumental hip hop, 808, Chicago beat, future funk, whatever you call it, it sounds great. Between the amazing cover art (by Mark Goldstein) and the wild synths, percussive elements, and growing rhythms, Chicago's Paradigm has kept us on his soundcloud page consistently for a few weeks now. His 3 song EP is available for free download, and we can promise your head will be nodding. Perfectly suited for a misty midnight drive, the final nightcap, or a productive copywriting or coding session, these beats chug, develop, overlap, and grow all within a few minutes. Dudes' sense of arc is on point, these tracks build, and we enjoy them tremendously. These tracks didn't come out yesterday, but thy're beyond mentionable. We'll certainly be looking forward to Paradigm's next release. All we can hope is that this is pressed on vinyl at some point. Think good thoughts IPMM'ers. Until then, listen up and spread the word, Paradigm sounds gooooood.
